At Smart Market, customer satisfaction is important to us. This policy outlines the terms and conditions for returns, refunds, replacements, and order cancellations.

By placing an order on our website, you agree to the terms below.


1. Order Cancellation

A. Cancellation Before Dispatch

  • Orders may be cancelled within [24 hours] of placing the order or before dispatch, whichever is earlier.
  • If payment has been made, a full refund will be processed to the original payment method.

B. Cancellation After Dispatch

  • Once the order has been shipped, cancellation is not permitted.
  • You may request a return after delivery (subject to eligibility below).

Smart Market reserves the right to cancel any order due to:

  • Product unavailability
  • Pricing errors
  • Suspected fraudulent transactions
  • Incorrect customer details

If we cancel your order, you will receive a full refund.


2. Return Eligibility

You may request a return if:

  • The product is damaged or defective
  • The wrong item was delivered
  • The item is unused, unopened, and in original packaging

Return requests must be initiated within [7 days] of delivery.

To be eligible:

  • Product must be unused and in resalable condition
  • Original packaging, invoice, tags, and accessories must be intact

3. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return:

  • Customized or personalized products
  • Digital products
  • Perishable goods
  • Innerwear, personal care, or hygiene-related items
  • Clearance or final sale items

4. Return Process

To initiate a return:

  1. Contact us at talk2smartmarket@gmail.com with your order number.
  2. Provide photos/videos (if damaged or incorrect item).
  3. Wait for return approval and instructions.

Returns sent without prior approval may not be accepted.


5. Refund Policy

Once the returned product is received and inspected:

  • Approved refunds will be processed within [5–10 business days].
  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
  • Shipping charges (if any) are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

For Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, refunds will be processed via bank transfer or store credit.


6. Replacement Policy

If the product is defective or damaged:

  • A replacement may be offered (subject to stock availability).
  • If replacement is unavailable, a refund will be issued.

7. Return Shipping Charges

  • If the return is due to our error (wrong/damaged item), we will cover return shipping.
  • If the return is due to customer preference, return shipping costs may be borne by the customer.

8. Late or Missing Refunds

If you have not received your refund:

  • Check your bank account again
  • Contact your payment provider
  • Contact us if the issue persists

Processing times may vary by bank.


9. Fraud Prevention

Smart Market reserves the right to deny returns or refunds in cases of:

  • Repeated return abuse
  • False damage claims
  • Used or altered products
